Beautiful Bull Pond has much to offer visitors. What a location this is for outdoors people. There is a fine hiking trail near Bull Pond called the Breakneck Ridge Trail; a great location for whitewater paddling is Moodna Creek. Bull Pond is a wet site that gets lots of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. | | Harriman is a great local campground, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail.
If the weather is lovely, you obtain a delightful vista of Blackcap Mountain from Bull Pond; do explore Barnes Lake, it's a pretty lake. The warmest time of the year at Bull Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Bull Pond in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise.
Hemlock Brook is a scenic stream that is worth a visit, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Popolopen Creek. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Central Valley Golf Club is in close proximity, and
you can hit the slopes at Mt. Peter close at hand.
The Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail is a great hiking trail next to Bull Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Harriman Motor Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Sterling Forest has nice slopes and a friendly staff, and if you desire a little side tour, try Brooks Hollow.
