The Adirondack Mountains is peerless! Indian River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and don't leave Buck Ponds without first paying a visit to T Lake Falls. Have a great hiking adventure along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and there are plenty of people from Gloversville here. This lake is so wonderful. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Adirondack       Mountains. Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit; swamps like Belden Vly are fun to stop by. Buck Ponds typically gets a great deal of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Browns Tract Pond State Campground is always a nice experience; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piseco Outlet.                  So many exciting things near Buck Ponds, absolutely incredible. Take a hike on the Sucker Brook Trail; Buck Ponds is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a good local campground. Throughout the summer at Buck Ponds highs are typically in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Buck Ponds during the wintertime regularly descend into the 0's. While you're here at Buck Ponds, you could also stop by striking Amos Lake; Eagle Bluff is something you shouldn't miss since you're here.
