Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Buck Pond. Buck Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest of the months is February. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Stay the night at Santa Clara Riverside RV       Park and Campground, and the friendly people of Malone like to hang out close by. You can run the rapids of Jordan River close to Buck Pond, and you'll locate a striking lake called McCuen Pond. Having a great time at Buck Pond is painless. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Ash Pond Trail. There's so much to do here at Buck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Robinson's Iga is a brilliant place for that. Buck Pond is right by the Sixmile Creek Trail, and why not take a little journey to Bear Brook since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. St. Regis River - West Branch is a great whitewater spot near Buck Pond, and do check out Midget Pond, it's a beautiful lake.
