A visit to Buck Pond is always a good idea. Buck Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. If you need a place to stay 19th Green Motel is a splendid choice; Chub Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. One of the governing traits of the surroundings of Buck Pond is Stone Dam Mountain. During the summertime months here at Buck Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down

| | to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Buck Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Singing waters Campground if you're here at Buck Pond, and the snow is fine at Woods Valley. February is generally the driest month. Be careful coming to Buck Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Forty Mountain Trail, and don't forget to take a tremendous little
trip to Big Brook. This lake is so wonderful. The Stone Dam Trail offers hiking at its best, and dry warm beds await you at Country Club Motel. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by McCauley Mountain, and
Black River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains. Take a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Kayuta Lake Campground is a delightful place to camp.
