This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of McCauley Mountain is just what you need, and a delightful view of pretty Stone Dam Mountain is available. Don't forget to take a good little visit to Big Brook, and going for a hike along the Stone Dam Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Black River is a fine whitewater spot near Buck Pond, and you can stay the night       at Singing waters Campground. For the period of the summertime at Buck Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Buck Pond throughout the winter typically drop into the 0's.
