    Many people like to go to Buck Pond. That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. You're sure to come across some good folks from Gloversville here, and float down the rapids of Sacandaga River - West Branch in a kayak. Buck Pond is a pretty wet place usually with lots of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Buck  
   Pond while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Buck Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Ranch Side Park is a great location to camp, and going for a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors fun stuff in the neighborhood of Buck
 
               Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Bear Mountain is stunning and can be observed from Buck Pond, and if you need a place to stay Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel is a good choice.
The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Getting to Dugway Creek from Buck Pond is easy, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sacandaga River - Middle Branch; hiking along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is splendid fun.
Camping is available at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Airdwood Lake is just a very short distance away.
