Go to Buck Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Buck Pond; Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is a perfect local trail, and since you're here, you could also go to beautiful Hamilton Lake.
