Many people like to go to Buck Pond. That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. You're sure to come across some good folks from Gloversville here, and float down the rapids of Sacandaga River - West Branch in a kayak. Buck Pond is a pretty wet place usually with lots of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Buck

This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Ranch Side Park is a great location to camp, and going for a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. is always beautiful. Getting to Dugway Creek from Buck Pond is easy, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sacandaga River - Middle Branch; hiking along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is splendid fun.
