Buck Pond is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Deer River Campsites is a glorious place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Buck Pond is not the only location nearby, Clear Pond is a nearby lake, and in case
you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River. Titus Mountain is a very popular ski area around here; at Buck Pond you always meet someone from Malone. This lake is so wonderful. Head
up to Mount Pisgah and strap some skis to your feet. For the duration of the warm months here at Buck Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Buck Pond.
