Get covered with water paddling on Saranac River - North       Branch, and perfect skiing awaits you at Whiteface Mountain. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Silver Lake Mountain Trail is a perfect hiking trail near Buck Pond; you can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Mount Pisgah. So much amusing stuff to do at Buck Pond, so little time. If you came for an overnight stay Donaldson George A and Sons is a nice site to camp, and if the weather is pretty,                  you acquire a good sight of Big Haystack Mountain from Buck Pond. Going for a hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and after a long day outdoors THE HOTEL SARANAC is a great site to spend a night or two. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. You'll meet a lot of people from Malone here, and camping at Buck Pond is good fun, Pioneer Village is a good local campground. All through the days of summer highs here at Buck Pond reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight lows at Buck Pond during the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 0's.
