    Brueyer Pond is a lake worth visiting. Brueyer Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Near Brueyer Pond you find the Northville Lake Placid Trail which is a good hiking trail, and you'll discover a gorgeous lake called Rock Pond. So much cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Blue Jay Campsites is a good local campground, and lakes are such calm locations, why not explore Dawson Pond.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
   Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Rock River, and dry warm beds await you at THE HOTEL SARANAC. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cold River, and after a long day outdoors Woodlake Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Palmer Brook.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Go for a hike on the
 
               Indian Pass Trail; why not camp at Camp Cherokee if you're here at Brueyer Pond. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Brueyer Pond. Going for a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail is always a great adventure, and the slopes of Mount Pisgah are so inviting noone can resist. During the warm days of summer at Brueyer Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Brueyer Pond.
From a rainfall point of view Brueyer Pond is a relatively common site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.

Not sure where Plumley's Point is but I hiked the Northville Lake Placid trail about 4 or 5 miles north from Long Lake village and it was fairly well maintained (just a little overgrowth). At one point the trail runs into a bog/pond and the wooden planks are flooded over. You must make a detour to the left and bushwack to some rocks to cross (hiked June 09)...8/14/09 I'm wondering if anyone knows the trail conditions for the Northville Lake Palcid trail from Long Lake village to near Plumley's Point-...
