Be careful coming to Browns Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. A nice close by hotel is Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and Browns Pond is not far at all from Glens Falls. On a pleasant day at Browns Pond you can take a hike along the Glen Lake Trail, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Near Browns       Pond you find the Half Moon Pond Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Browns Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Catherine Capers is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Bomoseen State Park Campground is a fine spot to do that; paddling on Mettawee River is so much fun. All through the summertime months at Browns Pond highs are frequently in the 80's. For the period of the dark                  hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Browns Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. There is a fine hiking trail near Browns Pond called the Bomoseen Hiking Loop, and since you're here and you like golf, you can go to Valley View Golf Course. Browns Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February.
