    Go to Brown Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Brown Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Brown Lake, too magnificent to be true. Don't forget to take a great little journey to North Branch West Branch Sacandaga River; the summit of Little Roundtop Mountain can be observed from Brown Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel is a magnificent choice.
 
   Hiking is a popular thing to do around Brown Lake; Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is a brilliant local trail, and if you're popping by from Gloversville, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Eastman Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sacandaga River - West Branch,  
               and Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a magnificent local campground.
All through the summer here at Brown Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Brown Lake. Having a fine time in the Adirondack Mountains is uncomplicated. Piseco Outlet is a good whitewater spot close to Brown Lake, and Campsite is a nice campground nearby. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. While you're here at Brown Lake, you could also have a look at delightful Ross Lake, and Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course is a nice golf course nearby.
Brown Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is February.

Nine Corner Lake
Never been there...going there soon though....l\Love it there, going today. :)...Great spot for swimming in the summer. Clear waters, with many rocks and small cliffs to jump off, along with a rope swing! Its a heavily used area, made apparent by the large amount of garbage left around during the busy months, but  all in all a good lake and definatley worth the short hike....

Buckhorn Lake
Buckhorn Lake is a private Association Lake located 2 miles north of Unadilla, New York (in Otsego County). Very friendly towns folk and this lake holds the New York State Record for a Large Mouth Bass caught in 1994. The lake is fed by many underground springs but is not ery deep. Makes for a lovely, though short drive around it....

Morehouse Lake is completely on private property under the ownership of the Morehouse Lake Club which was founded in 1889 and also has within it's borderline Barto Lake and Mud Pond. The outlet stream is called Little Goldmine and runs southeasterly into the East Canada Creek near Powley Place....
