Brother Ponds is located in the Adirondack Mountains. So much exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just astonishing. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Brother Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Shearer's Riverside Campsite, and while you're here, you could also go to beautiful Bloody Pond. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. You can distinguish Bloody Mountain       from Brother Ponds, and Brother Ponds is a nice spot to camp, Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a nice spot. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Long Swing Trail; Boquet River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Brother Ponds has it all. Basin Harbor Club is a glorious place to get some rest; on a brilliant day you can pop by East Mill Flow, a swamp right next door to Brother                  Ponds. High temperatures at Brother Ponds through the long summer days are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Brother Ponds dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A nice close by hotel is Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel, and don't leave Brother Ponds without first going for a hike along the Peaked Hill Trail. Brother Ponds gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
