Custom Search     Brooktrout Lake     Lynch, The lake is stocked for DEC study ONLY. The lake was a dead lake and came back on it's own. But studies suggest that that may not last.The fish were stocked to see if they can reproduce in the lake that still has some acid. They may be able to live in it but reproduction could be affected by low level acid.In this case the fish will live out their lives and die off with no new fish to replace them. Lets hope it works.
