Brooks Lake is a lake worth visiting. What a place this is for outdoors folks. If you came to camp Beaver Pond is a tremendous location to do that, and a day on the slopes of Sterling Forest is just what you need. Brooks Lake gets a lot of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. Good hiking is available along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and you have to have a look at Doodletown

| | Bight when you're here. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near Brooks Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Woodtown Trail; a wonderful spot for whitewater paddling is Moodna Creek. Everybody loves Salisbury Meadow, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Brooks Lake; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. on the pleasant whitewater of Popolopen Creek. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Brooks Lake, you could also stop at scenic Roe Pond, and The Garrison Golf Club is a golf course nearby. The skiing at Mt. Peter is
fine. A good close by hotel is Econo Lodge Highland Falls; you should beyond doubt check out Anthonys Nose during your stay. Brooks Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sebago Cabins Harriman is a great local campground,
and swing by Cranberry Brook it's a great spot to visit. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a brilliant choice, and if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a great panorama
of Bare Rock Mountain from Brooks Lake. Through the summer months at Brooks Lake highs are generally in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Brooks Lake.
