At Breeds Pond you can distinguish Black Rock. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Breeds Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sebago Cabins Harriman. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. The slopes of Sterling Forest are so inviting nobody can resist, and do schedule some time to visit Plum Point if you have a chance. This lake is so wonderful. If you crave a little side journey,       try Black Rock Hollow; a fine close by hotel is The Thayer Hotel. Nearby lakes? Sure, Rings Pond is right next door to Breeds Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Breeds Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Mt. Peter, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. This                  lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Popolopen Creek, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail. Lots of precipitation falls at Breeds Pond; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is usually the driest month. You're in all probability into lakes, Aleck Meadow Reservoir is one of those nearby, and Central Valley Golf Club is a nice golf course close by.
