If you need a place to stay The Sagamore is a glorious choice, and Brant Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Point O' Pines is a nice local campground. Going for a hike on the Long Swing Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Gore Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. A good close by hotel is Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg, and whitewater paddling is good on Schroon River. This lake is so wonderful. A       magnificent site to camp here at Brant Lake is Hidden Pond Campsite, and this is a popular place for folks from Glens Falls. So much amusing stuff to do here at Brant Lake, too good to be true. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Streeter Pond is a lake nearby, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Pharoah Mountain Trail. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains.                  Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Beaver Pond, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail. For the period of the summertime months at Brant Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Brant Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Hawk Hill is trouble-free to spot from Brant Lake; get covered with water paddling on Hudson River. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
