This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. During your tour to Brant Lake you'll meet some folks from Glens Falls for sure, and Schroon River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Brant Lake, you could also pop by nearby Beaver Pond; there's great hiking along the Spectacle Pond Trail. Be careful coming to Brant Lake, you might not ever       want to go back home again. A glorious nearby hotel is Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg; the summit of Hawk Hill can be seen from Brant Lake. So many amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Streeter Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and paddling on Hudson River is so much fun. High temperatures at Brant Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs                  are in the 20's with temperatures at Brant Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you need a place to stay The Sagamore is a fine choice, and if you came to camp Point O' Pines is a glorious place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. The Long Swing Trail offers hiking at its best, and the snow is brilliant at Gore Mountain. Brant Lake is a good place of normal rain; during August this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Camping at Hidden Pond Campsite is always a glorious experience, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Brant Lake; Pharoah Mountain Trail is a tremendous local trail.   The Sagamore, Bolton Landing 9 miles away The Sagamore is the perfect year-round getaway.
