Paddling on Raquette River is so much fun, and the Ash Pond Trail is a great hiking trail close by. A stunning lake like Horseshoe Pond close to Boottree Pond is a splendid spot to stop at; close by you find the Sixmile Creek Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Boottree Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. High       temperatures at Boottree Pond throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Boottree Pond dip into the 0's. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is peerless! Get wet paddling on Jordan River, and going for a hike on the Big Deer Pond Trail is always a magnificent                  adventure. Why not camp at Robinson's Iga since you're here at Boottree Pond; at Boottree Pond you can see Burnt Rock.
