Loch Bonnie gets a typical amount of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The snow is great at Mount Pisgah; delightful hiking is available along the Indian Pass Trail. So much amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just unbelievable. A day on the slopes of Whiteface Mountain is just what you need, and you can go for a hike on the McKenzie Pond       Trail. Dry warm beds await you at The Whiteface Lodge; the peak of Moose Mountain can be seen from Loch Bonnie. And that's not all there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Loch Bonnie is great enough to spend more than a day at, Adirondak Loj is a great local campground, and don't leave Loch Bonnie without first going for a hike along the Schwartz Trail. A perfect spot to camp here at Loch Bonnie is Whispering Pines Campground; you can run the rapids                  of Ausable River - West Branch. This location is excellent, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Loch Bonnie. A lake close by is Bartlett Pond, and do schedule some time to explore Grays Point if you have a chance. Loch Bonnie is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Alpine Air Motel is a perfect choice, and Minnow Brook is right next door to Loch Bonnie and is always a pleasure to check out. Any time is a good time at Loch Bonnie if you like the outdoors. While you're here at Loch Bonnie you will meet lots of people from close by Plattsburgh. For the duration of the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Loch Bonnie, and the night is rather colder of course, usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Loch Bonnie temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
