    A visit to Loch Bonnie is always a good idea. So many amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. A day on the slopes of Whiteface Mountain is just what you need, and a quick spree to Minnow Brook is absolutely a delightful idea. A lake nearby is Bartlett Pond; nice hiking is available along the McKenzie Pond Trail. Loch Bonnie gets a common amount of annual rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest  
   month of the year is February.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Indian Pass Trail, and The Whiteface Lodge is a brilliant location to get some rest. This site, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. Adirondak Loj is a nice campground nearby, and since you're here you can play some golf at Craig Wood Golf & Country Club. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. The snow
 
               is magnificent at Mount Pisgah; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Ausable River - West Branch. Moose Mountain is easy to spot from Loch Bonnie, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Ausable River - West Branch. Loch Bonnie is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. Loch Bonnie is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Whispering Pines Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and Loch Bonnie is not far at all from Plattsburgh. This lake is so wonderful. West Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Lake Placid is a splendid choice. At Loch Bonnie through the months of summer highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Loch Bonnie tend to be in the 0's.
Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do in the vicinity of Loch Bonnie. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Loch Bonnie; Schwartz Trail is a nice local trail; nearby you find Grays Point.

Whiteface Mountain
With the greatest vertical drop in the east at 3,166 feet, very few resorts do this better than Whiteface. With long runs over three separate, yet connected areas, you'll spend maximum time on the snow and minimum time on the lifts.

Silver Lake Mt. is a glorious hike. Its not too difficult for the amateur hikers and has a few trails off to the side that are a bit more difficult and fun for the experienced hikers. Its a great place for a family or business day retreat and provides phenomenal views of the North Countries natural beauty. Enjoy the trail but remember to keep it clean and well maintained. A little effort can go a long way......
