If you are in Franklin county it's always a good idea to stop by Bone Pond. From a rainfall point of view Bone Pond is a reasonably typical place; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. But wait, there's more to do near Bone Pond. Do check out Grass Pond near Bone Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and why not camp at Donaldson George A and Sons if you're here at Bone Pond. Clear Outlet which is a stream that you may run into during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Meacham Lake Outlet is so much fun.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Adirondack Mountains. Glide
down the rapids of Cold River in a kayak, and taking a little trip to nearby Markham Point is a great idea. Ampersand Bay Boat Club is a delightful site to get some rest, and camping at Bone Pond is delightful fun, Blue Jay Campsites
is a delightful local campground. Bone Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
All year is a tremendous time in the Adirondack Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Mount Pisgah has great slopes and a friendly staff, and Bone Pond is not far at all from Malone.
