There are other places here than Bog Pond, for example Bear Pond, and you can go for a hike on the McKenzie Pond Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Adirondack Mountains. Bog Pond is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Cherokee is a magnificent spot to camp nearby; lakes are such calm spots, why not stop by Upper Saint Regis Lake. All year is a tremendous                  time in the Adirondack Mountains if you like the outdoors. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Mount Pisgah, and a tour to North Bay is always a great idea.
