Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a great place to get some rest. Be careful coming to Bog Meadow Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. Hiking along the Stillwell Lake Trail is brilliant fun, and if you come at the right
time of year, Moodna Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. If the weather is great here at Bog Meadow Pond, you can go for a hike along the Woodtown Trail, and if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a good choice.
Skiing at Mt. Peter is one of those things you just should do, and camping at Beaver Pond is always a wonderful experience. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bog Meadow Pond. You'll never forgive yourself if you
don’t go skiing at Sterling Forest since you're here; get yourself into a kayak and hit Popolopen Creek. Bog Meadow Pond is a quite wet place typically with a great deal of rain; through May this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
