It's always fun to stop by Bockar Lake. If the weather is great here at Bockar Lake, you can go for a hike along the Woodtown Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Ramapo River. During the summer at Bockar Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Bockar Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Camping is available at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds, and if you want to hit the beach, Old Sebago Beach is in the vicinity.
If you need a site to stay Wellesley Inn Hotel is a splendid choice; on a great day it's a good idea to spend the day at New Sebago Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail;
a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Popolopen Creek.
Bockar Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February.
