trail nearby called the Woodtown Trail. Bockar Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. If the weather is glorious here
at Bockar Lake, you can go for a hike along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Spook Rock Golf Course. Any time is a delightful time at Bockar Lake if you like the outdoors.
There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mt. Peter. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Cheesecote Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Popolopen Creek.
On a wonderful day it's a good idea to spend the day at New Sebago Beach, and the Sherwood Path is a delightful hiking trail close by.
