Bochen Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Adirondack Gateway Campground is a pleasant local campground, and Knights Inn Little Falls is a nice site to get some rest. Bochen Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. You just have to have a thing about the Adirondack Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Feullard Lake, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on West       Canada Creek - South Branch. All through the warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 70's at Bochen Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bochen Lake descend into the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Bochen Lake. A good place to camp here at Bochen Lake is Crystal Grove Diamond Mine, and on                  a pretty day you get a tremendous view of Feullard Mountain from Bochen Lake. While you're here at Bochen Lake you can take a hike along the California Trail, and swamps can be such interesting locations, take a look at Basin Pond since you're here at Bochen Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on West Canada Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bochen Lake a wet location; through August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. On a nice day at Bochen Lake you can take a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby McCauley Mountain. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing things to do in the Adirondack Mountains.
