Blue Heron Lake is a wet site that gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls during May, and January on the other hand is the driest. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Blue Heron Lake. A day on the slopes of Thunder Ridge is just what you need, and lakes are such calm places,       why not stop at Twin Lakes. Summertime highs at Blue Heron Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Blue Heron Lake are in the 10's. Golf can be played at Pound Ridge Golf Club, and Soundview Sports is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Kiwi is a                  good place to camp; get yourself into a kayak and hit Norwalk River.
