Bloody Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a place to stay Lake George Travelodge is a good choice, and West Mountain is a very popular ski area close by. This lake is so wonderful. At Bloody Pond during the warm months highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Bloody Pond is a great spot to camp, Adirondack Camping Village is a great spot, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Willard Mountain. Having
a glorious time in the Adirondack Mountains is easy. West Brook is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bloody Pond has to offer, you can camp at King Phillip's Campsite.
Bloody Pond is a good place of typical rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January.
If you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Top of the World Golf Course, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hudson River.
