An average amount of precipitation falls at Bloody Pond; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is frequently the driest month. A day on the slopes of Labrador Mountain is just what you need, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Cortland. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course in close proximity to Bloody Pond is Maple Hill Golf Club,       and getting to Whaupaunaucau Creek from Bloody Pond is easy. High temperatures at Bloody Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's while Bloody Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Bloody Pond is a pleasant place to camp, Yogi's Deer Run Campground is a pleasant place; if you need a location to stay Cortland                  Days Inn is a magnificent choice.
