    Beautiful Bloodsucker Pond has much to offer visitors. Summertime highs at Bloodsucker Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Bloodsucker Pond fall into the 0's. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Moose River - Middle Branch; nearby you come across the Twin Lakes Trail which is  
   a magnificent hiking trail. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. Woods Valley is a very popular ski area close at hand.
Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact abundant here at Bloodsucker Pond. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sunset Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two; Nicks Creek is in the neighborhood of Bloodsucker Pond and is always a delight to stop by. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               McCauley Mountain has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, and going for a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Camping is available at Singing waters Campground, and get dripping wet paddling on Black River.
This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. There is a nice hiking trail close to Bloodsucker Pond called the Stone Dam Trail, and why not camp at Kayuta Lake Campground if you're here at Bloodsucker Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Bloodsucker Pond a rather wet place; most of the rain falls all through August, and the driest of the months is February. Bloodsucker Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
