Bloodsucker Lake is a nice lake to visit. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Mohawk River; visiting Fort Stanwix National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Paul Revere Lodge is a pleasant site to get some rest, and if you're here, you could also stop by lovely Powlish Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Rome; hey, Gotta ski right? Snow Ridge is a tremendous place to do that.
All through the months of summer

at Bloodsucker Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's with temperatures at Bloodsucker Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Bloodsucker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Treasure Isle RV Park is a tremendous spot for that, and some of the water nearby flows, like Beaver
Meadow Brook. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Fish Creek - East Branch, and one of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Bloodsucker Lake is Bowman Hill.
This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Woods Valley. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bloodsucker Lake a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here; July is when it's the driest. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do near Bloodsucker Lake. Stay the night at CMA Campground, and do visit Smith Lake, it's a stunning lake.
