     You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bloodsucker Lake has to offer, you can camp at CMA Campground, and Smith Lake is a wonderful lake close by. High temperatures at Bloodsucker Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Bloodsucker Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Bloodsucker Lake gets a great deal of water; through  
   the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Rome is a nice location to spend a night or two, and the summit of Bowman Hill can be observed from Bloodsucker Lake.
This site rocks, just look at all the exciting stuff to do right next door to Bloodsucker Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mohawk River, and some of the water nearby flows,
 
               like Beaver Meadow Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Fish Creek - East Branch; if you're looking for a wonderful spree, Fort Stanwix National Monument is reasonably near. This lake is so wonderful. Very stunning scenery and good skiing is what you get at Woods Valley.
What would winter be without some skiing at Snow Ridge, and Inn at the Beeches is a splendid place to get some rest. Lakes are such serene spots, why not have a look at Powlish Pond near Bloodsucker Lake. There's so much to do here at Bloodsucker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Treasure Isle RV Park is a magnificent place for that.
