July, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
The Brickhouse Mountain Trail is a good hiking trail next to Black River Pond, and Black River Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day
at, Alps Family Campground is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Jiminy Peak nearby, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Taconic Skyline Trail. Rocky Brook is a brilliant local stream,
and do check out Spring Lake, it's a charming lake.
Mount Greylock Ski Club is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and dry warm beds await you at Jiminy Peak. Through the long summer days here at Black River Pond, high
temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Black River Pond tend to be in the 10's.
