Black Pond is always a pleasure to visit. During your trip to Black Pond you'll meet some people from Malone for sure; a good site for whitewater paddling is Round Lake Outlet. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. If you get bored of Black Pond, you could also pop by nearby Mount Arab Lake. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Don't leave Black Pond without first going for a hike along the Sixmile Creek Trail,

| | and Bridge Brook Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. For the duration of the summer months, highs typically are in the 70's at Black Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Black Pond throughout the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 0's. Pond Trail. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many cool things to do here at Black Pond, too magnificent to be true. Long Lake Camp is a pleasant local campground, and good hiking is available along the
Big Deer Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Bog River, and a tour to Black Bay is always a pleasant idea. Black Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February.
