This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Ash Pond Trail, and paddling on Bog River is so much fun. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Black Pond is right by the Sixmile Creek Trail, and a scenic lake like Mount Arab Lake is a nice place to stop by. There's so much to do here at Black Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Jay Campsites is a fine location for that; lakes are such peaceful places, why not

Camp is a magnificent local campground; glide down the rapids of Round Lake Outlet in a kayak. Through the summertime at Black Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down
into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Black Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. The high level of rain makes Black Pond a reasonably wet place; the wettest
month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month.
