Much rainfall falls at Black Pond; most of the rain falls through November, and the driest month is March. This lake is so wonderful.       Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River, and if you get bored of Black Pond you could also explore close by Bass Lake. Travelodge Pulaski is a nice place to get some rest, and do explore Pine Meadows Creek since you're here at Black Pond.
