Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are truly abundant here at Black Pond. An average amount of precipitation falls at Black Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is January. And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on       Meacham Lake Outlet. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Black Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Jay Campsites is a fine place for that, and a perfect site for whitewater paddling is St. Regis River - Middle Branch. Here at Black Pond you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Malone, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Mud Pond. For the period of the warm months highs here at                  Black Pond reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Black Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Black Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Cherokee.
