In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Black Pond is one of them. Summertime at Black Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Black Pond during the winter mostly descend into the 0's. Some of the water nearby flows, like Hewitt Pond Brook, and Gore Mountain Accomodations is a magnificent place to get some rest.

| | A great place to camp here at Black Pond is Smoke Rise Campsites; you can go for a hike on the Dividing Ridge Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Ideal Campsites. Black Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Mountain is magnificent, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Boreas River.
If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great planet it would be. Drift down the rapids of Boreas River - Upper in a kayak;
don't leave Black Pond without first going for a hike along the Van Hoevenberg Trail. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Barnes Pond is a nearby lake that you
could have a look at, and there are nice locations to look at along the Elk Lake Marcy Trail. Black Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Hewitt Pond Mountain can be distinguished from Black Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Copperfield Inn is a splendid choice.
