If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Black Mountain Ponds. Go for a hike on the Berrymile Pond Trail. What a place this is for outdoors folks. There's tremendous hiking along the Treadway Mountain Trail, and La Chute River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous spot to camp here at Black Mountain Ponds is Scenic View Campground; don't leave Black Mountain Ponds without first going for

Here at Black Mountain Ponds there are plenty of folks from Glens Falls, and if you need a site to stay The Sagamore is a glorious choice. The annual precipitation here at Black Mountain Ponds is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. Mountain Ponds is great; paddling on Mettawee River is so much fun. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; West Mountain is right next door to Black Mountain
Ponds, and a good nearby hotel is Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg. For the period of the summertime months, highs typically are in the 70's at Black Mountain Ponds. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. During
the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Black Mountain Ponds temperatures descend to the 0's. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. While
you're here at Black Mountain Ponds you have to stop by Kitchal Bay, and Willard Mountain is a delightful local ski area. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Fishbrook Pond in the vicinity of Black Mountain Ponds, and camping at Green Acres By The Brook is always a great experience.
