Try Lemons Brook, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Peenpack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Lake Superior, and a great close by hotel is Best Western Monticello. Get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Delaware River, and camping is available at Happy Days Campground. Having a perfect time at Black Lake is easy. Take a hike on       the Schiff Trail; for you golfers we recommend close by Island Glen Country Club. Black Lake mostly gets a great deal of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. At Black Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Black Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter                  nights. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a good choice; you can run the rapids of Callicoon Creek - East Branch. If you came for an overnight stay Woodstock On The Lake Campgrounds is a splendid place to camp, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Lost Cabin Trail.
