Going for a hike along the Peenpack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and a good nearby hotel is Best Western Monticello. This lake is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Wesserlauf Pond while you're here at Black Lake; it's nearby, and do take a hike on the Schiff Trail.
