Do stop by Black Lake while you're in this part of New York. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Black Lake; Lost Cabin Trail is a magnificent local trail, and it's a pleasant idea to go to Lemons Brook. Stay the night at Happy Days Campground; there's nice hiking along the Schiff Trail. You could also explore Wesserlauf Pond since you're here at Black Lake; it's close by; Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a brilliant place to get some

| | rest. Black Lake gets lots of water; most of the rain falls during August; the driest month of the year is February. Head up to Holiday Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Callicoon Creek - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. called Island Glen Country Club, and if you've had enough of Black Lake, Little Black Lake is nearby. Summertime highs at Black Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For
the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Black Lake fall into the 10's. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Black Lake. You'll need more
than a day to explore everything Black Lake has to offer, you can camp at Woodstock On The Lake Campgrounds, and the Peenpack Trail offers hiking at its best.
