Black Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. A splendid place to camp here at Black Lake is Twin Oaks Campgrounds, and Silver Creek Golf Club is a brilliant golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Owasco River,       and camping at Cayuga Lake State Park is always a wonderful experience. So much exciting stuff to do here at Black Lake, too nice to be true. Black Lake is not far at all from Seneca Falls, and on a pleasant day you can stop by Montezuma Marsh, a swamp in the vicinity of Black Lake. Through the days of summer at Black Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's while                  Black Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
