Black Hole is a good site of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is when it's the driest. Holiday Inn Express Syracuse/Oneida Lake Area, Ny is a good place to get some rest; for you golfers we recommend nearby Brennan Golf Course. Not far from Black Hole, you'll locate South Pond which is a pretty lake, and if you came to camp Sunset Campground is a splendid       location to do that. Summer at Black Hole arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Black Hole. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Black Hole. There's so much to do here at Black Hole that you need to camp here for a while, Selkirk Shores State Park is a great place for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but                  if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Pulaski Super 8 Motel is a great choice; there's whitewater on Sandy Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.
