If you came for an overnight stay Adirondack Gateway Campground is a great location to camp; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Burp Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. McCauley Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Forty Mountain Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the       enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, West Canada Creek offers some great whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Pine Knoll Motel. Black Creek Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You can distinguish Lawson Top from Black Creek Lake. So much                  exciting stuff to do at Black Creek Lake, so little time. Camping at Black Creek Lake is good fun, Singing waters Campground is a good local campground, and the Party Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Black Creek Lake, you can go for a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River - South Branch. During the summertime months here at Black Creek Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Black Creek Lake. All year is a splendid time in the Adirondack Mountains if you go for the outdoors.
