Mirror Lake Inn is a splendid place to get some rest, and Little Black Brook has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Man, is there plenty of cool stuff to do close to Black Brook Pond. Playing golf is lots of fun at Indole Golf Course, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Schwartz Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff       the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay High Peaks Base Camp is a magnificent location to camp; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. High temperatures at Black Brook Pond through the summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the                  winter temperatures at Black Brook Pond descend into the 0's. Black Brook Pond is a good spot of common rainfall; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Silver Lake Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors Lake Placid Club Lodge is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Having a brilliant time in the Adirondack Mountains is easy. Some close by water includes Black Brook; Black Brook Pond is right by the Southside Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whiteface Mountain has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and the summit of Fern Lake Mountain can be seen from Black Brook Pond. Camping at Black Brook Pond is tremendous fun, North Pole Campground is a tremendous local campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Plattsburgh here.
