This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Paddling on Boreas River is so much fun; if you're here you can take a hike along the Indian Pass Trail. Bissell Pond is not the only location close by, Fish Pond is a close by lake; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Dividing Ridge Trail.       This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. Drift down the rapids of Boreas River - Upper in a kayak; dry warm beds await you at Binder's Cabins. This lake is so wonderful. The yearly rainfall here at Bissell Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Ideal Campsites since you're here at Bissell Pond, and on a                  perfect day you can take a hike along the Elk Lake Marcy Trail. At Bissell Pond you can distinguish Buck Mountain, and pleasant skiing awaits you at Gore Mountain. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Bissell Pond, too pleasant to be true. Camping is available at Smoke Rise Campsites, and if you need a place to stay Garnet Hill X C Ski Center is a wonderful choice. Summertime highs at Bissell Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's.
