If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Bishops Pond. Bishops Pond is not the only spot close by, White Lake is a close by lake, and nice skiing awaits you at Holiday Mountain. Camping is available at Swan Lake Camplands, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Peenpack Trail. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY is a delightful place to spend a night or two; a       delightful place to camp here at Bishops Pond is Happy Days Campground. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Callicoon Creek - North Branch, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Schiff Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Bishops Pond a reasonably wet spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. Days Inn Of Liberty is a great location to get                  some rest, and why not take a little visit to Judson Brook while you're here. Through the warmest time of the year at Bishops Pond highs are frequently in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Bishops Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Swan Lake Golf & Country Club, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Lost Cabin Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
