This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Elm Lake, and a delightful site to camp here at Binnewater Pond is Otisville Camp Grounds. All the water falling down from the sky makes Binnewater Pond a wet location; all through May this area sees the most rain; the driest       month of the year is February. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Port Jervis is a fine location to spend a night or two, and Binnewater Pond is right by the Lost Cabin Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Binnewater Pond, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Binnewater Pond night                  low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Days Inn Wurtsboro is a great spot to get some rest, and playing golf is lots of fun at Green Ridge Golf Club. Hidden Valley is a magnificent local ski area, and Clove Brook is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Binnewater Pond is Neversink River; camping is available at Camp Deerpark.
