Hidden Valley is a good local ski area; Binnewater Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Deerpark is a great local campground. This is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Mill Pond is a lake close at hand, and Green Ridge Golf Club is a perfect golf course nearby. Summertime highs at Binnewater Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's; the overnight       is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Binnewater Pond drop into the 10's. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clove Brook, and the peak of Castle Hill can be made out from Binnewater Pond. Binnewater Pond is right by the Lost Cabin Trail; if you came to camp Otisville Camp Grounds is a fine site                  to do that. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things right next door to Binnewater Pond. Neversink River is a brilliant whitewater spot near Binnewater Pond; if you need a site to stay Middletown - Days Inn is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mountain Creek is in close proximity to Binnewater Pond, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Elm Lake is one of those close by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Peenpack Trail, and after a long day outdoors Wurtsboro - Days Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two.
