Bigsby Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Boreas River - Upper close to Bigsby Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bigsby Pond has to offer, you can camp at Ideal Campsites. Bigsby Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is August; February meanwhile is the driest month.

| | Going for a hike on the Elk Lake Marcy Trail is always a brilliant adventure. There's so much to do here at Bigsby Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Smoke Rise Campsites is a perfect location for that. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the summer at Bigsby Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Bigsby Pond | |

You simply must fancy the Adirondack Mountains. Gore Mountain has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and from Bigsby Pond you get a great vista of Bigsby Hill. Go for a hike on the Dividing
Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Spectacle Pond Trail;
while you're here, you could visit Bailey Pond Inlet.
But wait, there's more to do near Bigsby Pond. There's whitewater on Trout Brook River for all you adrenaline people, and you're most likely keen on lakes, Bailey Pond is one of those nearby.
