This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the days of summer at Big Sherman Pond highs are generally in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the
winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Big Sherman Pond tend to be in the 0's. And if that's not enough there's a load more cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The Dividing Ridge Trail offers
hiking at its best, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boreas River - Upper.
Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in
the Adirondack Mountains. There's great hiking along the Elk Lake Marcy Trail, and why not camp at Ideal Campsites if you're here at Big Sherman Pond.
