Twitchell Lake
 | 10 miles away 1 PHOTO On 7/7/2009... 85 years ago my mother who lived in Brooklyn spent her vacations at Lake Twitchell, she said once she went to the adirondacks she never went back to the catskills. I got up this morning and thought of her conversations about the lake and decided to look it up, I hope it's still as beautiful as she described it so many years ago,I still have her snap shots.... |

There is an old ghost trail marked with blue soap can lids at the base of the ridge. Probably grown in by now. Don't need trails anyway. Use your Map & Compass. Don't do this trip with the foliage on. Lots of thick b... |
