This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. All through the days of summer at Big Pond highs are commonly in the 70's; the night is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows at Big Pond during the winter mostly descend into the       0's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boquet River, and hiking along the Weston Trail is splendid fun. So much amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just mind-boggling. Dry warm beds await you at Basin Harbor Club, and Big Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Magic Pines Family Camp Grounds is a great local campground. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Big Pond; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most                  rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Ore Bed Pond, and going for a hike along the Leach Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This spot is great, just explore all the amusing things to do in the neighborhood of Big Pond. If you need a place to stay Microtel Inn & Suites Plattsburgh is a delightful choice; while you're here, you could stop by Burpee Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and a great site to camp here at Big Pond is Camp Normandie. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Adirondack Mountains.
