This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Spectacle Pond Trail, and Blue Ridge Falls Campsite is a tremendous campground here. Man, is there loads of cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. While staying at Big Pond you could always discover Buck Hollow; a delightful nearby hotel is Chamlar Lodge & Cottages. The yearly rain here at Big Pond is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and       February is when it's the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Paddling on Trout Brook River is so much fun, and after a long day outdoors Elm Tree Cabins & Motel is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Big Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Big Pond.                  Big Pond is a pleasant site to camp, Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a pleasant site, and whitewater paddling is nice on The Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Bullet Pond close to Big Pond, it's a pretty lake, and lovely scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at Gore Mountain. You truly should like the Adirondack Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Pond; Peaked Hill Trail is a great local trail, and the top of Hedgehog Hill is easily made out from Big Pond. If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great earth it would be.
