For you golfers we recommend close by Top of the World Golf Course, and you can hit the slopes at Gore Mountain in the vicinity. Big Hollow Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Black Spruce Mountain can be seen from Big Hollow Reservoir, and there's good hiking along the Spectacle Pond Trail. Through the days of summer highs here at Big Hollow Reservoir       reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Big Hollow Reservoir. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Big Hollow Reservoir. A perfect place to camp here at Big Hollow Reservoir is Queen Village Camp Ground, and paddling on Hudson River is so much fun. And that's not all there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains.                  You'll find a delightful lake called Hidden Lake near Big Hollow Reservoir, and Schroon River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by.
