The beauty of Beecher Lake is reason enough to stop by. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Seager West Branch Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains. Beecher Lake gets a lot of water; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
