Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do near Beebe Pond. You can run the rapids of Bash Bish Brook in the neighborhood of Beebe Pond, and going for a hike on the Taconic                  Skyline Trail is always a magnificent adventure. If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. An average amount of rain falls at Beebe Pond; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Konkapot Brook, and dry warm beds await you at A B&B in the Berkshires. Do stop at Cranberry Pond next to Beebe Pond, it's a lovely lake, and you can go for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail. Head up to Catamount and strap some skis to your feet, and you'll most likely meet some people from Pittsfield here.
