This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Nevele Grande Resort; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Peter is reasonably near. After a long day outdoors VALLEY BROOK INN AND COTTAGES is a good location to spend a night or two; do visit Echo Lake, it's a beautiful lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Beaverman Lake a wet spot; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest       month is February. Going for a hike on the Vernooy Falls Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Stony Brook is near Beaverman Lake and is always a pleasure to visit. If you come at the right time of year, Beer Kill River - West Branch offers some tremendous whitewater, and there are great places to discover along the Kanape Jeep Trail. So much cool stuff to do here at Beaverman Lake, too splendid to be true. Lake Jerry is a nearby lake that you could                  check out. There's so much to do here at Beaverman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Echo is a wonderful site for that. A round of golf at nearby Wallkill Golf Club is a great way to kill some time, and you can stay the night at Indian Lake Camp. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandburg Creek; there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Comfort Trail. Summer at Beaverman Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
